Soluna — Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Soluna. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver the Solar Mandala Projection Light, our solar-powered garden lantern that projects warm-gold mandala patterns (100% solar, IP65 weatherproof, no wiring). It covers shipping costs and timeframes, how your order is fulfilled, customs and import charges, tracking, the personal data shared to deliver your order, and what happens if something goes wrong in transit. Please read it together with our Terms of Service, Returns & Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy (which contains the full details of our data processing, sub-processors, international transfers, and cookies).

1. Where We Ship

We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders. We ship internationally, including to the European Union / EEA, the United Kingdom, the United States, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and most other countries.

Prices and payments are available in ILS, USD, EUR, GBP, and AED. The currency shown at checkout is the currency in which your order is charged. The total price displayed at checkout includes all taxes we are required to show; it does not include destination import duties or taxes (see Section 5).

If we are unable to ship to your address (for example, due to local import restrictions, carrier limitations, or sanctions/export-control rules), we will contact you using the email associated with your order and arrange a full refund for that order.


2. Shipping Cost

Shipping is free worldwide on every order. There are no shipping charges added at checkout, regardless of destination or order size. Because shipping is free, where a consumer exercises a statutory right of withdrawal, no separate outbound standard-delivery charge needs to be refunded (there was none).

Please note that "free shipping" covers the cost of carriage only. It does not cover any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other charges that your local authorities may impose on the import of your order. See Section 5 (Customs, Duties & Import Taxes) below.


3. Order Processing & Delivery Times

  • Processing time: Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after your order is placed and payment is confirmed.
  • Estimated delivery time: After processing, estimated delivery is 7–14 business days.

"Business days" means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the country of dispatch and the destination country.

Important: these are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery timeframes are good-faith estimates based on typical carrier performance. They are not guaranteed delivery dates. Actual delivery may be affected by factors outside our control, including customs clearance, local postal/carrier delays, weather, peak-season volumes, incorrect or incomplete address details, and other events beyond our reasonable control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for delays caused by such factors. This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights you may have, including, where applicable, the right to delivery within 30 days or an agreed period and to remedies for late delivery under EU/UK consumer law (see Section 9).


4. How Your Order Is Fulfilled (Dropshipping) and the Data We Share to Ship It

We want to be fully transparent about how Soluna operates and exactly what personal data leaves our systems to get your order to you.

  • Items ship directly from overseas warehouses. Soluna uses a dropshipping fulfillment model. Your order is fulfilled and dispatched by our fulfillment partner, CJ Dropshipping, and shipped from one of its overseas warehouses (often in China) and/or its suppliers and carriers.
  • Data shared with CJ Dropshipping. To fulfill and ship your order, we transmit your name, full shipping address, postal/ZIP code, phone number, and email address to CJ Dropshipping. CJ forwards this information to its suppliers, warehouses, and carriers (for example DHL or local postal operators) — including parties in China — to manufacture, pack, and deliver your products.
  • International transfer of personal data. Sending this information to CJ Dropshipping and its sub-contractors constitutes an international transfer of your personal data, including a transfer to China, which is not the subject of a "adequacy" decision by the EU or the UK. Where you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards for this transfer (such as the EU/UK Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) together with a transfer-risk assessment and, where relevant, additional measures). You may request information about these safeguards by emailing hello@soluna.garden. Full details — including all sub-processors (CJ Dropshipping, and our payment, hosting, analytics, and email providers), the categories of data, and the safeguards applied — are set out in our Privacy Policy.
  • Tracking, email, and analytics providers. Order-confirmation and shipping emails are sent through our email provider Resend. Our website is hosted on Vercel, with order and store data stored in Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore. We also use analytics and advertising technologies (Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, Microsoft Clarity session recording, Vercel Web Analytics, and first-party analytics) as described in Section 10 and our Privacy Policy.
  • Your order may arrive in multiple packages. Depending on warehouse stock and routing, the items in an order may be shipped separately and arrive in more than one package and at different times. If you receive part of your order, the remainder is typically on its way. If you believe an item is missing after a reasonable period, contact us at hello@soluna.garden.

5. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

Because your order ships internationally from an overseas warehouse, it may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, handling fees, or other charges levied by the authorities in your destination country.

  • These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or covered by our free shipping, except where the mandatory law of your country requires the trader to bear or pre-collect them.
  • Customs policies, thresholds, and rates vary widely by country, and we cannot predict or control them. We recommend contacting your local customs office for an estimate before ordering if this is a concern.
  • Any customs clearance procedures are managed by the carrier and the relevant authorities. Delays caused by customs are outside our control and are not included in our delivery estimates.
  • If you refuse to pay applicable duties/taxes and the package is returned to the sender or destroyed by customs as a result, we will refund the price of the goods less any irrecoverable outbound costs to the extent permitted by your mandatory consumer rights; please contact us at hello@soluna.garden and we will work with you in good faith.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched and a tracking number is available, we will:

  • Send tracking details by email to the address you provided at checkout (our transactional emails are delivered via our email provider, Resend); and
  • Make your tracking and shipment status available on our order-status page on the website.

Please allow some time after dispatch for the tracking number to become active in the carrier's system. If your order ships in multiple packages (see Section 4), you may receive more than one tracking number.

If you have not received any tracking information within a reasonable time after your processing window, please check your spam/junk folder first, then contact us at hello@soluna.garden.

Note on emails: Order-confirmation and shipping/tracking emails are transactional and are sent so we can perform your contract. Separately, we send abandoned-cart reminders and a newsletter, which are marketing messages. Where required by law, marketing emails are sent only with your consent, every marketing email contains a one-click unsubscribe link and our postal address, and you can opt out at any time at no cost. See our Privacy Policy.


7. Delivery Issues

We want your order to arrive safely. Please review the following so we can help quickly. Nothing in this Section limits your mandatory statutory rights (see Section 9), including, for consumers, the rule that risk of loss or damage passes to you only when you (or someone you nominate) take physical possession of the goods.

7.1 Incorrect or Incomplete Address

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Please double-check your address before submitting your order.

  • If you notice a mistake, contact us immediately at hello@soluna.garden. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will do our best to correct it; once an order has shipped, we may be unable to make changes.
  • If a package is returned, delayed, or lost because the address you provided was incorrect or incomplete, we may ask you to cover the cost of reshipment, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We will always try to work with you in good faith to resolve the issue. This does not affect your statutory rights where a loss is not attributable to inaccurate address details you supplied.

7.2 Delayed Shipments

If your order significantly exceeds the estimated delivery window, please contact us at hello@soluna.garden with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier and our fulfillment partner and keep you updated. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs and carrier factors (see Section 3). Where mandatory law gives you a right to a remedy for late or non-delivery (for example, the right to cancel and obtain a refund if we fail to deliver within an additional reasonable period), those rights apply.

7.3 Lost Shipments

If tracking indicates your package has not moved for an extended period or has been confirmed lost in transit, contact us at hello@soluna.garden. We will open an investigation with the carrier. Because risk of loss in transit rests with us until you receive the goods, where a shipment is confirmed lost we will arrange a replacement or a refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

7.4 Items Marked "Delivered" but Not Received

If tracking shows your order as delivered but you have not received it, please: (1) check around your delivery location and with neighbours/building management; (2) confirm the shipping address on your order; and (3) allow a short period, as carriers sometimes mark items delivered slightly early. If it still does not appear, contact us at hello@soluna.garden and we will help investigate. A carrier "delivered" scan is evidence of delivery but is not conclusive, and this clause does not shift onto you any risk that mandatory consumer law places on the trader until you take physical possession of the goods.

7.5 Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, please contact us at hello@soluna.garden within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement, refund, or other remedy as appropriate and consistent with your statutory rights. Reporting after 30 days does not forfeit your statutory rights (for example, the EU/UK legal guarantee of conformity, which lasts well beyond 30 days). This is separate from, and in addition to, our voluntary returns policy and any "change of mind" / withdrawal rights (see Sections 8 and 9).


8. Returns, 30-Day Guarantee & Right of Withdrawal

This page covers shipping and delivery. For full instructions and conditions, please see our Returns & Refund Policy. In summary:

  • 30-day money-back guarantee. We offer a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee measured from the date of delivery.
  • EU/EEA and UK statutory 14-day withdrawal (cooling-off). If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, you also have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving any reason, which applies in addition to our 30-day guarantee. The 14-day period runs from the day you (or a third party you nominate, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods. You may withdraw using the model withdrawal form (available in the Returns & Refund Policy and on request) or by any other clear statement, including via the "Withdraw from your order" function on our website. If we failed to inform you of this right, the withdrawal period is extended by up to 12 months.
  • Refunds on withdrawal. Where you validly withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost (which for our orders is zero, as shipping is free), within 14 days of being informed of your decision, using the same payment method you used. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide proof that you have sent them, whichever is earlier.
  • Return shipping on withdrawal. Where a consumer withdraws as a matter of change of mind, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods. (If we have not clearly informed you of this before you order, we bear that cost.) This does not apply where goods are faulty or not as described, in which case we bear return costs.
  • Israeli consumers. Consumers in Israel may cancel a remote-sale transaction under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 — generally within 14 days of receiving the goods or the written disclosure, whichever is later. We may charge a cancellation fee of the lower of 5% of the transaction value or NIS 100 on a change-of-mind cancellation (no fee applies where cancellation is due to a defect, non-conformity, late delivery, or other breach by us), and we will refund within 14 days of the cancellation notice. Consumers who are persons with a disability, senior citizens (65+), or new immigrants (olim) may cancel within four months of the transaction where it involved a conversation (including electronic), subject to the conditions in the law.

9. Your Statutory Rights (Not Waivable)

The delivery estimates, disclaimers, and limitations in this policy apply to the maximum extent permitted by law and do not exclude, restrict, or waive any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of habitual residence. Where any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory right you hold, that right prevails and the conflicting provision does not apply to you.

  • EU/EEA and UK consumers keep all statutory rights, including the 14-day right of withdrawal, the legal guarantee of conformity for goods, the right to delivery within the agreed time (or, failing agreement, within 30 days) and remedies for late delivery, and the rule that risk passes only on physical possession.
  • Israeli consumers retain their mandatory rights under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, including remote-sale cancellation rights and pre-sale disclosure rights.
  • Consumers everywhere retain any non-excludable warranties or guarantees under their local law.

Where the mandatory law of your jurisdiction grants you greater protection than this policy, that law prevails.


10. Tracking, Analytics & Advertising Technologies (Cookies and Server-Side Sharing)

So that we can run, secure, measure, and advertise our store, we and our providers use cookies and similar technologies, and we share certain data with third parties — including server-side. Non-essential analytics and advertising technologies are only used after you give consent where the law requires it (notably in the EU/EEA, the UK, and Switzerland), and you can change or withdraw your choices at any time via our cookie-settings control. Full information is in our Privacy Policy / Cookie Policy. In summary:

  • Meta Pixel + Meta Conversions API (CAPI). We use Meta's Pixel and Conversions API to measure and optimise advertising. The Pixel sets the _fbp and _fbc cookies and sends event data to Meta Platforms (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc.). In addition, from our server we share with Meta hashed (SHA-256) customer identifiers — such as your email, phone number, name, and address — together with your IP address, browser user-agent, and these cookie identifiers, for advertising measurement and targeting. Hashed identifiers are still personal data. This is shared only where you have consented; where consent to advertising is denied, these identifiers are not sent.
  • Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity, which creates session recordings and heatmaps of on-page behaviour (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling). Sensitive form-input content is masked. Clarity sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk (and may set Microsoft cookies such as MUID/CLID), and Microsoft acts as a controller for this data, stored in Microsoft Azure. Clarity is used only after consent where required.
  • Vercel Web Analytics. A cookieless, aggregated, privacy-focused analytics tool that does not store persistent personal identifiers.
  • First-party analytics. We store first-party analytics in Google Firebase / Firestore and use first-party identifiers to understand site usage.
  • International transfers. The above involve transfers outside the EEA/UK (for example, to the United States for Meta and Microsoft). We rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US / UK Data Privacy Framework (for certified recipients) and/or Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability (Merchant Protection)

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and without limiting any mandatory consumer rights (which always prevail):

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guarantees; we are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or other events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural events, strikes, transport or postal disruption, governmental or customs action, and sanctions/export controls.
  • Except for the express commitments in this policy, our voluntary guarantee, and any non-excludable statutory warranties, we disclaim all implied warranties and conditions to the extent the law allows.
  • Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to shipping and delivery is, to the extent permitted by law and except where liability cannot lawfully be limited (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of non-excludable consumer rights), limited to the amount you paid for the affected order.
  • You agree to provide accurate order information and not to use the store for unlawful purposes. All site content, trademarks, and the Solar Mandala Projection Light product imagery and designs remain our property or that of our licensors.

Truthful marketing. Any promotional or compare-at pricing, discount, countdown, or scarcity indicator we display reflects a genuine offer, and any product reviews shown are from genuine customers. We do not display fake, incentivised-and-undisclosed, or fabricated reviews.


12. Governing Law

This Shipping Policy and any dispute relating to it are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa shall have jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of habitual residence, which continue to apply and prevail to the extent they cannot be derogated from by agreement. For business (non-consumer) users, the Israeli-law and Israeli-forum clause applies in full.
